Battle of the Brits #8:
Tilda Swinton vs. Helena Bonham Carter.
Tilda Swinton may be most familiar from her role as the manipulative, evil White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and again in Prince Caspian. You may know her from Constantine, Burn After Reading, Caravaggio, or Sleepwalkers. Tilda is a classic beauty and has an enchanting presence. You can see Tilda in The Blood Countess in October and We Need To Talk About Kevin 2011.
Helena Bonham Carter is known for many of her roles, Bellatrix LeStrange in Harry Potter, The Red Queen in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Ophelia in Hamlet, and Marla Singer in Fight Club just to name a few. Some people know her has Tim Burton’s soul mate and mother of two, and others as the eccentrically dressed actress. Helena will be reprising her role as the oh-so-lovable Death Eater in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this November and July 2011, as well as in The Kings Speech also in theaters November 2010.
